Contact us- Does this work with any thermal camera?
We work with many of the most popular thermal imaging cameras and are adding new manufacturers frequently. Thermal imaging cameras that export with radiometric data can be analyzed for temperature data and used within ThermalSync. If you already have a thermal camera and want to know if it will work with ThermalSync, please contact us. If you are associated with a thermal imaging manufacture and would like to inquire about ThermalSync you can contact us via our contact form.
- Does the thermal camera need internet access?
No. Your camera does not need to be connected to the internet. Just take your images as usual, then upload them from your computer or device to our platform when you're ready.
- Do I own the data?
Yes. You own 100% of your data. All thermal images, asset tags, notes, and analysis are yours.
- Do you offer integrations with other platforms like CMMS or ERP?
Yes. Our platform was designed from the start for interoperability with CMMS platforms. We are adding functionality daily to provide deeper, meaningful integration that adds valuable data to the tools your team already uses.
- Can I track changes or trends over time?
Absolutely. Each asset has the ability to trend multiple points of interest. Each time you define a point in an inspection it can be used in the future for trend data.
- Can this be used by maintenance teams without thermal imaging expertise?
Yes. Once the initial setup is done any experienced team member can perform inspections. Our goal is to make ThermalSync assist in the discovery of exceptions whether you have thermal imaging expertise or not. We do recommend thermography training to better understand the various types of inspections and when accurate absolute temperatures are required.
- How long is the setup process?
Setup time depends on the complexity of the site. Mechanical assets are fairly straight forward unless guarding needs to be removed to provide visibility to the interested components. Electrical assets can be more complicated due to the arcflash ratings, need to open cabinet doors, and components with low emissivity.
We also like to gather as much context around the asset as possible to increase the accuracy of our assisted fault finding. The more information we have on your assets, components, and subcomponents the better ThermalSync can help you catch potential failures.
